OUR LOVE STORY
How we met
In October of 2023, Ethan and Molly were doing a fall ALPHA course. When they initially met, Molly knew of Ethan because he was in class with her cousin in 6th grade. They hit it off right away, and started hanging out regularly. Their first date was at Friday Tuna with a few friends from the Memphis Catholic Young Adult Group. Molly was coming home from a family trip and couldn't make it in time for a young adult event at the Corn Maze; however, at dinner, Ethan ate his food really slowly so that Molly could join him. A little after Molly got there, the rest of the group "left them to chat." As they got to know each other and begin dating, Molly's circle of friends expanded with people from the Catholic Young Adult group. They have been inseparable since.
Fast forward to
In July of 2024 Ethan and Molly took their first international trip to Vancouver Canada. They enjoyed activities such as hiking, visiting Ferguson Point, and as pictured whale watching. They hope to travel the world together after they get married, with a planned Honeymoon in Curaçao.

The proposal
The week Ethan was going to propose, he took Molly for a walk in the park and told her that the week was going to be about her since she was finishing up her busy season at work as a tax accountant. He told her he was going to take her to a "purple party" one night and there was going to be a surprise for her the next night. Somehow, Molly had a nagging suspicion that he was going to propose, so she set up a hair appointment for the day they were going to go to the "purple party". She met up with him at his house, and together, they drove to the Botanic Gardens. They walked to the bridge there, and he told her to close her eyes. After she was told to open her eyes, he was down on one knee and asked her to marry him. She said yes!
